Milford Asset Management (Milford) is pleased to announce that Mark Warminger has joined the company as Portfolio Manager. This position has been newly created within the firm to enhance Milford’s portfolio management capabilities as the firm continues to invest in the business in order to deliver superior returns to its clients. It reinforces Milford’s commitment to have an investment team with depth and experience.
Mark has a wide range of investment experience across financial markets both in New Zealand and internationally. Prior to joining Milford in 2011 Mark worked for Macquarie Private Wealth as Head of Investment Strategy in New Zealand. Prior to Macquarie Mark worked as an Investment Manager for Goldman Sachs New Zealand managing two high performing New Zealand and Australasian investment funds.
Mark began his career in London with Foreign and Colonial Asset Management as an Investment Manager investing in North American equities. As part of his role he travelled extensively through the US and Canada and managed one of the top performing US Equity smaller company funds.
He has a Bachelor of Science Economics Degree (with honours) from the University of London.

Milford currently has over $800m of funds under management, a 45% rise from the same time last year.
